Glacier Restaurant Group – R.I.S.E. Scholarship Program

Glacier Restaurant Group – Restaurant Industry Scholarship Endowment

Headquartered in Whitefish, Montana, Glacier Restaurant Group was formed in 2007 when four unique restaurant concepts merged, resulting in the largest restaurant company based in Montana. Strong brand loyalty and a successful business model has provided GRG with opportunity for growth through franchising and corporate expansion. With over 1,500 employees, the GRG culture is one of high energy, vibrancy and excitement. The company provides unique and memorable experiences for restaurant patrons and that same respect for employees, franchisees and the local communities served.

In 2015, using their own funds as well as a portion of those donated by guests through the Round It Up America program, GRG started a scholarship program administered by the Whitefish Community Foundation. GRG – R.I.S.E. (Restaurant Industry Scholarship Endowment) will award one scholarship each year to current, eligible employees, and one scholarship each year to a child or legal dependent of a current employee.  Application to the program is due by midnight on April 23, 2016.  Awards will be announced in July.
