Mission Statement: Whitefish Review is a non-profit literary journal that features the distinctive literature, art, and photography of mountain culture. While publishing some of the finest voices in the American West and beyond, the journal also discovers promising young local writers. Every issue features a previously unpublished writer chosen by the editors.

Whitefish Review publishes a nationally-acclaimed, non-profit journal featuring the distinctive literature, art, and photography of mountain culture. Established and emerging authors and artists are showcased with a diverse mix of stories, essays, fiction, interviews, and poems, along with a 16-page color art section. While publishing some of the finest voices in the American West and beyond, the journal also discovers promising writers and artists. Every issue features a previously unpublished writer or artist, as part of the mission to discover and nurture budding talent.  These writers are featured in events alongside established writers.
