North Valley Hospital Foundation

Use of Funds: Funds will go towards adolescent behavioral healthcare services using telemedicine technologies for at-risk school-age children in our North Valley communities.

Mission Statement: The mission of North Valley Hospital Foundation is to inspire a culture of giving which assures the transition of excellent healthcare for the community and its heirs.

Project Detail:

Adolescent behavioral health support with special emphasis in helping at-risk school-age children will offer advanced services that school counselors cannot provide on their school campuses. Early intervention and access to mental healthcare services will provide help for our youth. The NVH Behavioral Health Clinic, under the direction of Dr. Muir, will provide healthcare services, including the use of telemedicine, to address the needs of this undeserved population. Concurrent training in early detection and identification will take place as NVH professional’s partner with school staff and nurses. Partners: school district leaders, healthcare providers, treatment facilities, community organizations, telemedicine, and IT services.
