Circle of Giving Provides Serious Funding to The Foundation’s Giving Programs
The Circle of Giving was conceived to meet the growing need for annual support of key grant programs that greatly impact our community. The Circle is a group of like-minded individuals who commit at least a $5,000 (tax-deductible) gift annually to help expand the impact of the Whitefish Community Foundation’s Community Grant programs.
It is thanks to our generous donors that make up the Circle of Giving that the Community Grant Program and the Great Fish Challenge have grown to be such necessary programs that benefit our local nonprofits.
The 2015 Community Grant Program awarded over $254,000 to 74 nonprofit projects and the Great Fish Community Challenge helped 32 participating nonprofits raise over $1.1 million in program funding.
The Circle of Giving is the backbone of the Community Foundation’s grant programs. As more generous individuals join the Circle, it will grow to be a major resource to help address the critical needs of our nonprofits, our schools and our community. Thank you for supporting the Circle of Giving.
Circle donors are invited to attend a Circle dinner each year. The 2016 Circle of Giving social is August 9, 2016.
Join us in the Circle of Giving by making a gift of $5,000 or more and become a member of a group of unique and like-minded individuals willing to impact our community for the better.
