Windows on Whitefish is a public art project facilitated by Stumptown Art Studio. The project involves the creation of a series of 4 mosaic murals depicting the 4 seasons of Whitefish. “WOW” was launched with the intention of bringing our community together to create public art, beautifying our town & also serving as an important fundraiser for Stumptown Art Studio.

To date, over 100 volunteers have given their time and talent to Windows on Whitefish. The project is now 50% complete, with the Spring and Summer murals currently on display on the corner of 2nd   Street and Central Avenue. The community has been generous in its donation of materials that are incorporated into the murals, from glass to broken pottery and other local “memorabilia”. The Studio is actively seeking donations of weather proof items that represent Whitefish in some way.

The budget for the project is $60,000. To date, $51,000 has been raised through grants, individual and business sponsorships, and private donors. Sponsors of $500 and above will have their names permanently displayed on handmade tiles near the murals. Funds raised in excess of the project cost will be used to further develop Stumptown Art Studio’s art programs & increase the number of people served, from schools to senior centers & special needs organizations. The Studio encourages your support and involvement. Please call 862-5929 for more information!
