The
Legacy Society is a cornerstone of the Whitefish Community
Foundation.
Donors to the Legacy Society are individuals who wish
to remember and further help their community through a
planned gift in their Will. Donations to the Legacy Society
can be designated to the Whitefish Community Foundation
Endowment Fund or they can be set up as a Field of Interest
Fund.
A Field of Interest Fund (named by the donor) is usually
set up as a permanent endowment that allows the donor
to dedicate grants to a specific area particularly meaningful
to him or her. WCF will make grants to the most appropriate
programs within the donor’s field of interest.
