Memorial Funds

In the event of a tragedy, disaster or death, donors can establish a Donor Advised Fund or a Donor Advised Endowment Fund in the name of those who lost their lives.  A group of people contributes to the fund, which is a permanent living memorial.  Often these funds are dedicated to a particular field of interest.

Endowment Funds

Nonprofits and donors can establish an endowment fund at the Whitefish Community Foundation for long term giving.  Endowments offer nonprofits a simple and efficient way to work with donors to build a sustainable funding source and they offer donors a giving fund that they can build for long term sustainable charitable giving. The Whitefish Community Foundation is here to help you with planning, investing, and administering the fund.  Individuals can take advantage of the Montana Charitable Endowment Tax Credit by donating to an endowment through a planned gift.   LEARN MORE
